Lauren Kim captured her second college win at the Betsy Rawls Invitational in Austin, Texas this week finishing the tournament at 1-over-par. The University of Texas sophomore also helped lead her Longhorns team to victory with an 18-stroke victory over LSU. There were 78 women in this NCAA Division 1 tournament played at the University of Texas Golf Club.

The Surrey, B.C. native made two birdies and shot 1-under for her final round. One of those birdies came on 15, then Kim closed out the last three holes with pars to win the tournament by one stroke. Kim was the only player in the field shooting under par in the final round. This was Kim’s first win of the season after finishing just one stroke back in her previous tournament.

Following the win, Kim said "Super thrilled to have gotten my second individual win, and it was even sweeter to get the team dub. Thank you to all the members, alums, UT staff, and fans for cheering us on!"

Kim was also awarded SEC golfer of the week. She is currently the number one ranked amateur golfer in Canada according to World Amateur Golf Rankings.
