Canadian Grace Bell’s Strong Finish Wins NCAA DIV I Wigwam Preview

Grace Bell from Calgary, Canada was the lone golfer to finish under par on her way to securing victory at the 2025 Wigwam Preview at the Gold Course at Wigwam GCC in Litchfield, Arizona today.

The NCAA Div 1 tournament in the desert had a field of over 50 women vying for victory.  

The 4th year student at the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business completed rounds of 72, 73 and 70 and won by 3 stokes over Jenna Anderson from Utah Tech.

The multi month break for players did not show in Bell’s ability to come from behind with a strong -2 final round score. Her team, the UBC Thunderbirds, came in second to Tarleton State, losing by 8 strokes.

Bell said "Just overall really proud of the girls for battling back to second place in a tough D1 field. Taking the individual win is just the icing on the cake and really happy to get it done for the first time in UBC’s history."
